Canadian Track Layouts
Canadian 1958 Standard Track Layouts Folder
Tri-ang Railways produced their first track layout folder, specifically for the Canadian market, in 1958.
It was originally entitled 'STANDARD LAYOUTS' at the proof stage of production. However, the final finished article was renamed as 'STANDARD TRACK LAYOUTS' and included four HO gauge layouts formed of the grey Standard Track together with a single TT gauge layout constructed from the orange-brown Type A Track.
The studio photography of the assembled layouts was carried out by Haywood Studios Inc. of 627 Dorchester Street West, Montreal 2, Quebec.
Some copies of the original photographs have recently been discovered and a selection of these has been included on this page.
A copy of the original printer's proof 'mock-up' has also survived and a selection of some of the pages is also included below.
