Terry Walker, in Canada, sent me this picture of his 'Frozen Pickle Express'. It was inspired by the Eaton's Special Train Set for 1969. I counted four R.139 Heinz Pickle Cars in the train. Well worth the kneeling in the snow in sub-zero temperatures and the frozen hands. Nicely done, Terry, great picture, thank you. If anyone else has some inspirational pictures that they would like to be featured please contact me via this contact email link. Thank you, Rolande Allen.

Very Best Wishes and the Season's/New Year's Greetings to everyone!
There have been a lot of new developments on the website over the past 2 months; much new information and many new, original photographs have been added. Therefore, I thought that it might be helpful to list the major additions and revisions that have been made. The volume of information available on the website has increased dramatically and it has been neccessary to revise the layout of the headings on the page selection bar and, in addition, a few pages have had to be replaced and/or renamed as new information has come to light. My apologies for this, if you have experienced any difficulties as a result of these necessary changes. But, firstly, many sincere thanks must be given to the many fellow collectors and enthusiasts who have already contributed, in no small way, or have promised to contribute to the wealth of knowledge already contained here. Even the smallest snippet of information is highly valued, thank you. Particular thanks are offered to Terry Walker, in Canada, for his enthusiasm and the many photographs he has sent of the Canadian Sets in his collection. Also, for the enormous amount of correspondence we have exchanged via email. Particular thanks, also, to Peter Zimmerman, in Canada, for his enthusiastic help, advice, support and information and pictures relating to the new developing section on ‘Canadian Literature’. We aim to provide a comprehensive reference archive offering a complete listing, with full pictures, of every known catalogue, price list, order form, document produced specifically for the Canadian market. Thanks to Norman Howard, in the UK, for information and many photographs relating to ATT (American Train & Track Corp.) locomotives and passenger cars. And, photos of ATT’s model successors; Precision Miniatures and Parkway Industries. There have been many minor revisions but the following is a list of the major updates on the website in the past 2 months, or so: 1957 Sets – new information about the RHX-C Set and the Simpsons and Simpsons-Sears Special Sets has been added 1960-1961 Sets – a new version of the RS.C Set has been ‘discovered’ which pre-dates the Eaton’s 1960 Christmas Set; pictures can now be viewed. Illustrations from the Eaton’s 1960 Christmas Catalogue have also been added. 1964 Sets – three new pictures of the R.1 Set are now included A new comprehensive picture gallery on UK made Transcontinental Train Sets available in Canada has been added. 1965-1966 Sets – many new pictures of the CTS.2 Set and the CPS-1 Presentation Set have now been included. The page on Presentation Sets has also been rewritten. 1967-1968 Sets – there are new pictures of the PS.167 Presentation Set. Also, a picture of the 1967-8 Eaton’s Special Set illustrated in their 1968 Christmas Catalogue has been added. 1969 Sets – new pictures of Set TS.905, Simpsons and Simpsons-Sears Special Set No. 908/909 and the Eaton’s 1969 Christmas Catalogue Special Set have all been added plus a major revision of the 1969 Special Sets page. 1970 Sets – new pictures of Set 917, Set 919. In addition, part of the text concerning Special Set 9081 has been rewritten in the light of new discoveries. 1971 Sets – pictures of Set 926 has now been added. Canadian Literature – this new section of the website is now in the process of being developed. Illustrations of both of the rare 1957 Price Lists, all the 1958 to 1962 Illustrated Price Lists, 1966 Catalogue Insert and both 1966 Price Lists plus 1973 and 1973-1974 Catalogues are already available to be viewed. It is hoped to complete this section soon and we will keep you notified as things progress. ATT Locomotives – there are additional new, improved pictures of the Japanese brass ‘Yard Bird’ and Mehano made FT-A and F9-A Diesels including rare pictures of ATT models in their successors packaging; Precision Miniatures and Parkway Industries. ATT Trackside Accessories – a listing and pictures of ATT Mini-Town Accessories has now been included on this page. I hope you enjoy the information and knowledge that is on offer. There is much still to discover, particularly in relation to the Canadian Special Train Sets.
