Type 1 - issued 1967 - with yellow lining - (yellow lines applied above and below the corrugated panel under the windows)

Each car carried paper number stickers - yellow on a maroon background - which were affixed to the number panels. Over the years, the number panels have had a habit of falling off as the adhesive dries out. Consequently, cars with both number panels still intact are much more desirable than those without.
