Bi-lingual 'With Compliments' Letter included with the 1967/1968 Canadian Catalogue
single one-sided sheet, 8½" x 11"
This was a time in Canada when there was much discussion in parliament about including French as one of Canada's official languages which would eventually mandate that all packaging, instructions and related materials be bi-lingual. It would appear, by the inclusion of an English/French letter, which included comments about the very subject, that Tri-ang wished to express their compassion about the subject to the French speaking population. The first such English/French letter was issued in 1966 and this was repeated in 1967 for inclusion in the new 1967/1968 catalogue.
