Introduction
The first article on 'CANADIAN TRI-ANG RAILWAYS - THE 1965 AND 1966 TRAIN SETS' was first published in ‘TRAIN COLLECTOR’, the quarterly journal of The Train Collectors Society, and serialised in five parts from June 2009 to June 2010.
From these first publications more articles followed and eventually this website was created. It was a study born out of more than 50 years of playing with and collecting Tri-ang Railways, the acquisition of original factory archive materials from Canada and the generosity, help, support and kindness of many fellow
Tri-ang Railways collectors and enthusiasts.
Special thanks must be given to the following people who helped and encouraged me to create this website:
Terry Walker - for his friendship, help, support and encouragement as well as for his research and the many superb photographs and images of rare literature, sets and individual models ... half of this website really belongs to Terry !
Dave McCarthy, the owner of the wonderful TRI-ANG MODEL RAILWAYS website http://www.tri-ang.co.uk , whose website inspired me to begin the research and who gave his permission for a number of illustrations from his website to be used in published articles and on this website
Pat Hammond - for his support and encouragement and for many photographs and images of individual models, sets and literature as well as for the use of references from The Story of Rovex Volume 1 (revised) and Volume 2
