Welcome to this website which focuses particularly upon the sets, models and literature produced by Lines Brothers and marketed in Canada and the United States of America.
The publication of Pat Hammond's superb histories of Tri-ang Railways offered collectors an unparalleled knowledge base. Naturally, since publication, new information and discoveries have come to light; none more so than with the sets, models and literature for overseas countries. The main purpose of this website is to provide an
online reference catalogue offering the most complete and up to date listing of Tri-ang Railways Canadian Sets and models You will also be able to find unique examples of company literature and photographs, previously not known to exist. In addition, all the Tri-ang Railways models and literature for the USA are included here plus much, much more. Without the help and support of Pat Hammond, Terry Walker (in Canada), Peter Zimmerman (in Canada), Dave McCarthy (of the Train Collectors Society and the Tri-ang Model Railways website), fellow collectors and friends this would not have been possible. My very grateful thanks are extended to all of them.

Articles on the Canadian Tri-ang Railways Sets, Tri-ang USA Literature and other featured articles have been published in 'TRAIN COLLECTOR',
the journal / magazine of The Train Collectors Society (TCS).
The motto of the TCS is 'Any make, Any gauge, Any age' and the quarterly journal / magazine truly reflects this. It is a full-colour production of 52 pages, full of articles on model railway history and collecting from around the globe but with an emphasis on the UK produced models in various scales as the motto says.
The society and members regularly organise some of the finest exhibitions and get-togethers in the UK. But, if you can't make the journey, the four quarterly
journals / magazines are well worth the annual subscription alone.
